The cheese factory was established and operates since 1995 in Potamianata Pylaros. Goat and sheep milk is processed in the Stamoulis farm and other producers on the island. The products produced are Feta, Kefalotyri, Graviera, cream cheese, Myzithra Stania, Dry Myzithra, spicy cheese dip, and traditional sheep yogurt.
